Recruitment Agency Statistics – Failing to Add the Correct DNS
We assessed the state of email for 490 recruiters in the UK and US, focusing on their DNS records to measure their maturity.
Correct implementation of SPF, DKIM and DMARC are key tools in the trust and deliverability of your emails.
Our research into UK agencies shows many domains miss the basic settings, which will directly affect their deliverability and ROI from email outreach.
A third had SPF records missing from their setup, resulting in legitimate sending sources beign untrusted to send emails from their domain.
Nearly half had DKIM records missing, meaning that emails were missing a vital verification that they were legitimate emails.
A third of agencies assessed had failed to implement any form of DMARC, which is the latest and critically important DNS record to protect your domains reputation.
Finally, only 20% of rectuitment agencies had any DMARC reporting in place. Without this, you are blind to SPF and DKIM errors that are affecting the reputaion of your domain.
