Cold Email Outreach
Apollo shines when it comes to UK data, with users praising its accuracy and depth. However, worth noting that some recruiters complain that it isn’t quite as hot on US data. If your focus is heavily stateside, you might find it a bit hit-or-miss. But for UK-based recruiters, Apollo seems to be a solid choice for outreach.
ZoomInfo is a premium tool known for its deep US data and advanced features like company hierarchies and intent data. Compared to Apollo, ZoomInfo is pricier but ideal for teams prioritising the American market.
Unlike Apollo or ZoomInfo, it’s not a database but can be connected to other tools, and pull data from platforms like LinkedIn. It automates outreach so is great for streamlining workflows and saving time. Again, it doesn’t provide its own data, so you’ll need to pair it with other tools for comprehensive prospecting.
Cognism offers strong GDPR-compliant contact information worldwide, making it a reliable choice for agencies operating internationally. It’s great for its accuracy and compliance features but tends to be pricier, so it’s better suited for teams with a larger budget and a need for global reach
Super easy, plug-and-play, reasonably priced, and great list cleaning capabilities. What’s not to like? Turns out, it’s proper marmite if you go by the reviews online. We’ve seen people smashing it with Lusha, and others say it doesn’t work for them. We’d say it’s worth a shot.
Email Marketing
Previously known as SendInBlue, Brevo has a long history of being a powerful email marketing tool. Make sure you have contacts that have opted in for your email marketing! Like most email marketing tools, you’ll go on the naughty step if your bounce or spam reports are too high.
Who hasn’t heard of this cheeky monkey? Seen by some as a way of “getting started” with email marketing, it’s kept up with the competition, is stacked with great features and one of the easiest to use.
For a long time, this marketing agency’s secret weapon was for pros only but has been making itself more accessible and easy to use. Honestly, the interface can be sluggish but it makes up for it with its ability to handle some of the most complex email automations we’ve seen.
Calling Hubspot an email marketing tool is like calling the channel tunnel an underpass. It’s an insanely large platform once you get into it, with capability galore. And prices to match. Some might say it’s more than they need and, for email marketing, they might be right. Great platform and not for feint hearted.
Simply, this is Mailchimp but cheaper. Capable and straightforward email marketing and automation tool that’s easy to use and can be mastered quickly too. Some fancy features are missing but it’s enough for most people.
Let me be clear. This is not an email marketing tool. This is not an email automation tool. It’s a bulk email-sending platform designed to plug into other systems, like CRM, websites, and, well, email marketing tools!
